The trial of General Peleg Wadsworth
As part of Borderlands, our story about the impact of the Revolutionary War on midcoast Maine, we portrayed a fictional event linked to the Penobscot Expedition of 1779. We portrayed the trial as part of a community learning event in 2016.
The Runaway
In Maine and Freedom, set in 1856, the youth discover a runaway slave. This leads to all sorts of complications and a moral challenge. Do you break the law to follow a higher law? We celebrated this story in a community learning event in 2017.
